This course is an introduction to religious movements in contemporary Europe that claim an ancient heritage. We will discuss Occultism, Witchcraft, Satanism, Neo-gnosticism, Paganism and Norse Religion in Scandinavia. The course will also examine how these movements relate to contemporary political and social movements, for example nationalism and feminism.
