I am a senior advisor and systematic theologian.
My main area of research is the relationship between science and theology / religion. During my professional career I have worked in academia (mainly in Lund and Chicago) and for the Church. My background as parish priest, researcher, professor, bishop and archbishop has equipped me with international experience regarding religion, church and society, interreligious dialogue and leadership.
The current massive shift of technology through digitalization develops synergies with other processes in societies, which in turn poses challenges to spiritual sustainability.
