Until my retirement from Lund University I was head of the unit of Ethics. Subsequently I was engaged as Senior Professor in Ethics at Jönköping University for several years. For long time I was scientific secretary of the Regional Ethical Review Board in Lund. Currently I am working for the EU Commission as Independent Ethics Expert.
My research is mainly oriented towards problems in bioethics and questions concerning the relations between the sciences and views of life. In my recent research I have focused on ethical questions in relation to post-genomic research and personalized health advice.
