Moving Beyond the Document: Nostra Aetate's Legacy and Interreligious Understanding
Centre for Theology and Religious Studies invites you for a conference that will mark the beginning of a series of events dedicated to interreligious dialogue, to commemorate 60 years of Nostra Aetate. The conference will focus upon: a historical overview of Nostra Aetate; an evaluation of its reception today; and an encounter with themes such as “coexistence,” “multiculturalism,” and “difference,” with an eye towards case studies in Sweden. Importantly, our intention is to give voice to Christian, Jewish, Muslim and secular perspectives through facilitated dialogue and exchange.
Conference organizers are Magdalena Dziaczkowska, Jordan Spencer Jacobs, Vera La Mela and Jakob Wirén.
