Correlations in multiparticle production
Different aspects of the strong interaction in particle collisions are studied. Most of the work is based on the Lund string fragmentation model for hadron production. A model which incorporates interference between identical bosons in the string model is presented. With this model the consequences for the Bose-Einstein effect are investigated in detail. What happens at the end of the QCD cascades
Imperfect Tagging Revisited
Revisiting Parsons' 1996 article about disability insurance with imperfect tagging in a two type-economy -- individuals are either able or disabled. Here Parsons' analysis is extended in several directions. The model is generalized to allow for different utility functions over work status. The analysis extends to three different cases of a two-type economy. Finally Parsons' model is extended to th
Conformational Studies of Biologically Active Peptides
In this work conformational studies have been performed on peptides from four different systems in an attempt to gain knowledge about their biological function. Circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy in combination with distance geometry and restrained molecular dynamics simulations were the methods used. A detailed conformational study of a cyclic p

Analysis of melanins
Mammalian melanins are of two major types, eumelanins and peheomelanins, which often occur together, then called mixed-type melanins. A method has been developed for analysing the various forms of melanins. Melanin characterisation included their oxidation in permanganate under alkaline conditions, and analysis of the resulting degradation products, pyrrole-2,3,5-tricarboxylic acid (PTCA), pyrrole

Projective Reconstruction of 3D-curves from its 2D-images using Error Models and Bundle Adjustments
In this paper, an algorithm for projective reconstruction of general 3D-curves from a number of its 2D-images taken by uncalibrated cameras is proposed. No point correspondences between the images are assumed. The curve and the view points are uniquely reconstructed, modulo projective transformations. The algorithm is divided into two separate algorithms, where the output of the first is used as i

New species of the genus Caloplaca in Australia.
Nineteen species of the genus Caloplaca from Australia are described and illustrated: eight species (namely: C. bermaguiana, C. conranii, C. filsonii, C. gallowayi, C. kiamae, C. eos, C. tomareeana and C. whinrayi) mainly occur in coastal localities; further eight species (C. aliciae, C. astonii, C. australiensis, C. haematommona, C. marchantii, C. montisfracti, C. rheinigera, and C. streimannii)
Handledaren, gruppen och organisationen
This chapter argues for the importance for basic areas knowledge in group psychology as prerequisites for supervisors working in group formats. The tasks of the supervisor are divided into a) task related work, b) maintenance work, c)individuallly oriented work and d) organizational work. The unique charactistics of supervision groups are discussed. A number of useful models concerning group forma
