Gas Flow and Heat Transfer Modeling of an Anode-Supported Solid Oxide Fuel Cell Duct
The composite duct considered consists of a thick porous anode layer, the gas flow duct and a solid inter-connector. Unique fuel cell boundary conditions, such as combined thermal boundary conditions on solid walls, mass injection by electrochemical reaction and gas permeation across the interface, were applied in the analysis. The characteristics of gas flow and heat transfer were investigated an
