The Nordic Greylag Goose (Anser anser) Project.
Neck-banding of Greylag Geese in the Nordic countries was initiated in 1984 bythe Nordic Council for Wildlife Research as there was a need for a thorough knowledge of various aspects of the population ecology and migration patterns of the populations in different parts of the four countries. Since the start in 1984 more than 6400 Greylag Geese have been neck-banded, yielding more than 250,000 read
