MRI morphological characteristics of lymph nodes in anal squamous cell carcinoma
ObjectivesPre-treatment staging of anal squamous cell carcinoma (ASCC) includes pelvic MRI and [18F]-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography with computed tomography (PET-CT). MRI criteria to define lymph node metastases (LNMs) in ASCC are currently lacking. The aim of this study was to describe the morphological characteristics of lymph nodes (LNs) on MRI in ASCC patients with PET-CT-posi
Comorbidities in heart failure patients that predict cardiovascular readmissions within 100 days—An observational study
Background Heart failure (HF) commonly arises as a complication to cardiovascular diseases and is closely associated with various comorbidities. The impacts of these comorbidities in patients with HF are diverse. We aimed to analyze the increased risk for cardiovascular-related readmission within 100 days after discharge in patients with HF depending on their different comorbidities. Methods A pop
Detecting potential outliers in longitudinal data with time-dependent covariates
Background: Outliers can influence regression model parameters and change the direction of the estimated effect, over-estimating or under-estimating the strength of the association between a response variable and an exposure of interest. Identifying visit-level outliers from longitudinal data with continuous time-dependent covariates is important when the distribution of such variable is highly sk

Anonymisation of assessments has been discussed for decades. It stems from a concern about unduly bias in assessment and grading. In Sweden, anonymised assessments were introduced in many universities a decade ago. It was rarely preceded by discussions on potential pedagogical consequences. Recent research on the effects of anonymisation does not confirm the hypothesis of reduced bias in grading.

Hypothermia vs Normothermia in Patients with Cardiac Arrest and Nonshockable Rhythm : A Meta-Analysis
Importance: International guidelines recommend body temperature control below 37.8 °C in unconscious patients with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA); however, a target temperature of 33 °C might lead to better outcomes when the initial rhythm is nonshockable. Objective: To assess whether hypothermia at 33 °C increases survival and improves function when compared with controlled normothermia in
Self-rated health in primiparous women with congenital heart disease before, during and after pregnancy–A register study
Background. Poor maternal self-rated health in healthy women is associated with adverse neonatal outcomes, but knowledge about self-rated health in pregnant women with congenital heart disease (CHD) is sparse. This study, therefore, investigated self-rated health before, during, and after pregnancy in women with CHD and factors associated with poor self-rated health. Methods. The Swedish national
Multicentric policy practice : Collaboration as policy enactment in Sweden’s Art and Music Schools
This chapter explores collaboration between Sweden’s Art and Music Schools (SAMS) and compulsory schools from the perspectives of leaders in SAMS, highlighting their policy practices. Furthermore, it offers insights into the ways music education leaders can and do engage in policy practice adaptation and how policy practice draws from contextual needs and strengths while at the same time respondin

Swedish women reaching post-traumatic growth after an intimate partner violence relationship : A study of formal help and growth after trauma
Aims: This study examined whether women in Sweden who had been in an intimate partner violence (IPV) relationship reached post-traumatic growth (PTG) and if the level of PTG differed for women who had received formal help compared with women who had not received formal help. The study also examined whether there was a difference in the level of PTG depending on which type of formal help the women
I Sverige infördes anonymisering av examinationer vid många lärosäten förAdvantages and disadvantages of anonymisation of assessment procedures have been discussed for decades. It is not difficult to understand why the issue has been on the agenda for such a long time. To a large extent, both in Sweden and internationally, it is the students who request anonymisation in examination procedures, and their demands stem from a concern about bias in assessment and grading.
(Un)Weaving (Un)Sustainability
The spatio-temporal scale of design for sustainability has come full circle. What started within a technology-oriented global outlook, later evolving into a people-oriented and local view on change, now urges for a holistic, broad extent and multilevel design for sustainability. This paper enquires into the theories of social change that govern different approaches within the field, and positions

Crystal structure and biochemical activity of the macrodomain from rubella virus p150
Rubella virus encodes a nonstructural polyprotein with RNA polymerase, methyltransferase, and papain-like cysteine protease activities, along with a putative macrodomain of unknown function. Macrodomains bind ADP-ribose adducts, a post-translational modification that plays a key role in host-virus conflicts. Some macrodomains can also remove the mono-ADP-ribose adduct or degrade poly-ADP-ribose ch
On the Digital Front-Line : Far-Right Memory Work in Baltic, Central, and East European Online Spaces
This anthology explores the memory work performed by Baltic and Central and East European far-right actors in the online space. Situated at the crossroads between memory studies, far-right studies, and media studies, the volume’s seven chapters show how a wide range of far-right actors, from small movements to major parties, have exploited digital communication technologies in order to establish t
