I princip alla forskningsprojekt i forskargruppen grundar sig på ett intresse för samspelet mellan sjukdomsframkallande mikroorganismer och människan. Vi använder oss av ett antal olika metoder för att studera detta samspel på molekylär, cellulär, vävnads och organismsnivå.
