The aim of this study is to use frame analysis to identify different narratives surrounding the Swedish debate on a so called meat tax. The Swedish ministry of agriculture released a report in January 2013 with the message that the meat consumption needs to decrease to reach more sustainable levels. One way that it could be accomplished is through the implementation of a carbon based tax on meat.
