Various phosphatidylethanol (PEth) derivatives, the corresponding reversed positional isomers (RPI-PEths), lyso-PEth-16:0, and penta-deuterium-labeled PEth analogs (d5-PEths), were synthesized by enzyme-independent synthetic routes.
